4th Annual DC Nationals Skateboard Championships
-Regional Qualifiers launch second tier of contest this weekend -
The second stage of the DC Nationals Skateboard Championship will kick off 7 Regional contests across Canada this weekend (July 22nd & 23rd). The pre qualified competitors have earned their position in the contest and represent the talent from their Region.

MONTREAL, QC - Orkus Skatepark July 23rd @ 11AM
HALIFAX, NS - Halifax Skatepark July 23rd @ 11AM
The top 5 skateboarders from the Regional qualifiers will earn their spot in The DC Nationals Championship to be held at Slam City Jam, the North American Skateboard Championships, at Stampede Park in Calgary, AB on Friday August 25th, 2006.
National Championship Friday August 25th, 2005 kick off to Slam City Jam weekend, Calgary, AB
Here, Canada's top amateur skateboarders will compete to determine the National Champion in their class. In addition to cash prizes, all DC National Championship participants will receive a 3-day series pass to Slam City Jam. The top 3 finalists in the Men’s and Women’s category will also be given a spot in the Slam City Jam street qualifiers on Saturday August 26th, 2006.
Every summer DC Shoes gives back to its roots of skateboarding by hosting the DC National Skateboard Championship. The National series which started running in June has so far seen over 2500 participants. The DC Nationals is a Non-Profit Canada-Wide skateboard contest and the only event of its kind that gives Canadian amateur skaters a chance to showcase their talent on a National level.
